Smoke
by Dennis Ranahan

The National Football League kicks off their Sunday schedule today with 13 games. Weather conditions could be a major factor in California, but not based on clouds, wind, rain or otherwise. Nope, the weather conditions that could wreak havoc with the opening Sunday schedule on the west coast is smoke.

The fires in the state have reduced the air conditions to unhealthy, and as these things are tracked they have a graph that shows the low quality of air near 200. I don’t know exactly what all that means, except if that scale goes above 200, like it was on Friday, then outdoor sporting events are supposed to be sidelined.

These conditions affect two games today, the San Francisco 49ers home meeting against the Arizona Cardinals and tonight’s contest in Los Angeles where the Rams are scheduled to open their new stadium against the visiting Dallas Cowboys.

Seems this week, the games are easier to predict than the air conditions that may add another obstacle in this weird year.

The three most bet games by the public this week are the Seattle Seahawks (-1½) over the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills (-6½) over the New York Jets, and Baltimore Ravens (-7½) over the Cleveland Browns.

Qoxhi currently has three rated selections posted, and if a Bullet Play develops in the final hour leading up to the day’s first kickoff, that game will be added to the playlist at 9:45 a.m. Pacific Time.
