While the players and coaches sync up their efforts in the preseason, this time of the year can also be used to sharpen up the skills needed to maximize profits from National Football League point spread results.
Some might consider my claims that a dedicated point spread player can make more than the online Account Manager indicates, is little more than hype. But, in reality, it’s true. The reason is illustrated this week based on the Cowboys versus Rams game last Saturday in Los Angeles.
As soon as the line was pegged at the Rams by three, wise guys piled on the Cowboys like it was a sure thing. In a blink, the books shifted the favorite in this contest to Dallas by two points. The day before the Saturday kickoff, the line went up to three and three-and-one-half points, by game day afternoon the number had the Cowboys favored by four points, and 52 minutes before kickoff, the line kicked up to Dallas by 4½ points.
The Qoxhi Account Manager always records results based on the most common closing line. Nearly 80% of the books had moved the spread up to 4½ points before kickoff, and when the Cowboys won by four, 14-10, the win or loss was totally tied to when you placed your bet. The sharpees had the game with Dallas laying less than a field goal, while the late comers, and much of the action does show up in the final hour before an NFL kickoff, lost while laying the bloated spread.
The Account Manager online defaults to the Cowboys losing this game by one-half point on the spread. But, clients were alerted plenty early, beginning with that Tuesday column when Dallas was favored by less than a field goal, to place a wager on Dallas that assured a win. Phone service Qoxhi clients were texted the play on the Cowboys when the line was 3½, and when the contest was posted online Dallas was still covering the spread by a half-point.
The absolute truth is that the only thing that matters in regards to your bottom line is how much you bet and at what line. When the informed bettor follows any of the six money management strategies available online, they would stand to show a profit at season end. For first time participants, the Basic Strategy is highly recommended because it is easiest to manage and the most consistent at earning winning seasons.
Any of the other five strategies are set up with higher risk and higher return attributes.
In order to maximize profits, and that is what I want my clients doing, the Account Manager is the tool that transforms this activity from a gamble to an investment. That investment and bottom line can be enhanced when a subscriber takes full advantage of the online information that will indicate when to wager on a contest at the current line, and when it is advisable to wait for a better number closer to kickoff.
Of course I want clients to show profits higher than the amounts shown on the Account Manager. It is my experience that the best way to maintain a client is to have them earn money, and all our efforts at Qoxhi are geared to provide the tools necessary to turn point spread wagering into a consistent money maker. The provided online Account Manager is a key weapon for a point spread player looking for a complete program that they can count on to deliver season long bottom line profit margins of 30% or more.
